Award Winning Custom Residential Bar in the Coral Cay community in Huntington Beach, CA

Our trade is a dying art, but still appreciated by many who value quality materials and craftsmanship. We created this custom bar for our client’s home in Coral Cay using reclaimed materials for a rustic vintage look. This project was entered in a National woodworking competition under "Residential Bar" and we were awarded runner up!

Project Details

The woods are 100% reclaimed White Oak from vintage floors , with a natural oil finish .
T he backs inside the cabinets are reclaimed, rustic corrugated metal .
T he backs in the middle are reclaimed Whiskey Barrel slats .
T he lifted counter top is Custom, Rustic, Hammered Bronze from "Mio Metals" .
The lower counters are Reclaimed 8/4" White Oak.
We built the custom doors and used a rustic reclaimed Clavo as an accent.

Rustic Closet Armoire in Farmhouse Style

This space used to be a sliding wardrobe mirror, with a single pole. We designed an armoire that gave the client more pole inside than they previously had. This design also gave them a 5-drawer dresser and a place to store items above. This closet is furniture-grade, face frame, with inset fronts, it has a rustic, distressed, glazed and 6-8 coats of pre-cat lacquer. We did another PC this size to the right, creating a his and her setting. On this this photo to the right, we designed a shallow cabinet that was about 8" deep and behind the doors we installed belt and tie racks, scarf and robe hooks and installed some pegs to be able to organize necklaces and bracelets!

This is 1 of 2 over the top walk-in closets in this Beverly Hills estate. Both closets had about 36 LF of cabinetry. We fabricated this out of paint-grade lumbers and plywood, with 8-10 coats of a white pre-cat lacquer finish.
